Is the proposed edition of Bonduca to be modernised or will it retain the original spelling? Does this decision have any impact on the choice of copy text?

In the light of issues that arise in my own paper, I’d be very interested to hear Paul elaborate on the implications of the term "final intentions"? Would it make a difference to the choice of copy text if we speculated that the playwright considered he had submitted a semi-final draft only to the company, in the expectation that the normal processes of rehearsal would fine-tune the script to make it fit the stage better? What difference could it make to editorial procedures now if there is a possibility that Fletcher might have considered the fine-tuned, post-theatrical version to be his final text--and the version that he would prefer to see preserved for posterity in print?  Is this a possibility?
