Why must you choose between Q1 and F? Since the two versions seem so different (and yet, both valuable) you present extensive evidence for not trying to combine them. An online edition makes it possible to use both - separately, I would suggest. For each of the editions, you might put the sections of substantive variation in another color (with the option for the reader to turn off this feature), linked to those sections in the other copy text.

Could Q1 partially have been impacted by the physical circumstances of the acting company (in addition to touring) prior to registration in 1597, as well as possible rising and/or declining abilities of actors, or the presence of entirely different actors? In general, in this collaborative repertory company, how do editors weigh the authority of changes arguably made to accommodate individual players?
